Prototype of Tri fold gate card

This card is using pieces of class card kits I had left yesterday. It is just a prototype to see how it was made.

Use a card base of 3 1/2″ x 10 1/2″ scored at 3 1/2″ and at 7″

Then using the diagonal score board score at the top outside corner score down to the 3 1/2″ score mark, Then starting at the 7″ mark score down to the outside corner.

Crease on all score marks. On the left hand side you will fold the card in toward the middle then fold top corner down to the bottom edge.

On the right side you will fold toward the middle then you will take bottom corner and fold up.

To decorate use a 3″ square as a mat then use a 2 3/4″ square of white to stamp image and saying. Glue to inside.

On the outside use a 3″ square of  of designer paper cut in half on the diagonal and place on the triangle pieces. that fold down on one side and up on the other side. Using an 18″ piece of ribbon fold in half side card in and make sure the folded side of ribbon is on the left side of card. Use a small glue dot to hold ribbon in place. Back and front. Do not glue dot the ribbon on the flap that turns up on right hand side.

Using a 3 or 3 1/4″ mat glue just on the left side diagonal , you might want to tie your card close to get the correct placement. Take a 2 3/4″ white cardstock an stamp image and or greeting and pop dot it up on your mat.
